Thesis
The swarm is the intelligence.
A single neuron cannot think. It fires or it does not. Intelligence appears when many nodes are connected by the same signal, share the same chemistry and respond to the same inputs. That is the founding idea at Schaide, and it is an engineering decision before it is a metaphor.
One node.
Most startups spend their first funding round discovering whether they can build the product. One team, one idea, one bet. If the bet is wrong the company is wrong, and nothing that was learned survives the pivot.
Schaide started differently. Before shipping a product we built the thing the products would share: one architecture on .NET 10 and .NET Aspire, one design system in Blazor, one deployment pipeline, one telemetry spine. Then we started firing.
Connected nodes.
Every capability we build once becomes available to every product at the cost of a reference. GDPR consent and data export, hash-chained audit trails, PHI firewalls, KYC and AML modules, Stripe and mobile-money seams, provider-agnostic AI with deterministic fallbacks. A marketplace in Lagos and a clinical scribe in a US practice run the same compliance code.
That is what lets a new product reach a working, testable, billable build in weeks. The platform is not overhead. It is the connective tissue that makes each node worth more than it would be alone.
Signal, not noise.
A network with no governance is a crowd, not a mind. Every AI capability in the portfolio sits behind a swappable provider interface and records what the model did. Products demo without keys, run on local models where privacy demands it, and leave an audit trail a regulator or an insurer can read.
Three of the products exist to measure, verify and certify other people's AI: MetricLayer, Reliance and PortaGuard. One of them, SwarmOS, embodies the thesis directly as a persona that lives across every device a person owns, with a consent ledger for every unprompted contact.
The full network.
Thirty-three products across seven themes. Four live in production. Twenty-one languages in one marketplace, seventy-two in a payment OS. Three consumer businesses taking members and orders today. The catalog is not a roadmap. It is the evidence that the swarm already thinks.
We are raising a seed round to put sales, marketing and operations behind the nodes with proven demand. Capital goes to customers, not to discovering whether the product can be built. It can. It has been.
